MPPT solar charge controllers stand out by transferring almost all of the power generated by the solar panel to the load and batteries with the MPPT charging system. The DC-DC converter operates with a peak efficiency of 98% and a maximum power point tracking efficiency of over 99%. Thanks to its digital display, it allows detailed display of system parameters. MPPT series charge controllers provide safe and efficient charging of batteries with microprocessor control and the latest algorithms. Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT), equipped with charging technology and maximum efficiency advantages, is preferred in off-grid applications. With its easy-to-use user visual digital display interface and 3 different LED colours, it allows easy monitoring of solar panel and load output status with LED indicator and battery level on the digital display. Thanks to its programmable load output modes, it allows it to be used in general applications with timed night lighting applications and manual control of the load output with the button.
HAVENSIS SOLAR-40AMPS MPPT SOLAR CHARGE CONTROLLER
40AMPER 12/24V
DOMESTIC PRODUCTION
It instantly displays the battery voltage, battery charging current, power drawn from the SOLAR PANEL and panel voltage. And many more parameters can be displayed on the device.
Power is 20-30% more efficient than PWM solar charge controllers.
For example;
If 100Watt solar panel is connected to the battery with PWM charger, it charges the battery with 75Watt power.
If 100Watt solar panel is connected to the battery with MPPT charger, it charges the battery with 96-98Watt power.
Another advantage is that if you want to charge 12Volt battery from 24Volt (250-275W) solar panel, you can charge it with MPPT charge controller. Increases the charging current. Reduces the voltage to 12Volts.
Sample Calculation Method,
270W SOLAR PANEL MPP VOLTAGE AND CURRENT = 30,5V 9A
BATTERY VOLTAGE = 12VOLT
INPUT POWER = 270W OUTPUT POWER APPROX. 0.96*270W
CHARGING CURRENT = OUTPUT POWER / BATTERY VOLTAGE
CHARGING CURRENT = 260W / 12V = approximately 22AMPER.
AS A RESULT, ALTHOUGH THE INPUT CURRENT IS 9 AMPERES, THE CHARGING CURRENT IS INCREASED. THE MAXIMUM POWER THAT THE SOLAR PANEL CAN GIVE MAY VARY ACCORDING TO THE SOLAR RADIATION VALUE.
MPPT DEVICES CONSTANTLY MONITOR THE MAXIMUM POWER AND OPERATE THE SYSTEM THERE.
