Industrial Battery Sales

Electric vehicles are becoming more and more important day by day. Electric power is a safer and less destructive energy source for the balance in the world. Other available sources carry serious dangers.
In transport, fork-lift trucks, electric trucks and electric locomotives show a significant development with their size and models. Many newly designed crawler tractors and vehicles carrying people and materials have been added to these.

Industrial batteries are batteries developed and manufactured for such vehicles. They are similar to starter batteries in basic principle. However, they are designed to have a long life in more difficult operating conditions.

What are Industrial Batteries?

Industrial batteries are power storage systems designed for use in the industrial sector with a wide range of applications. These batteries stand out with their energy storage capacity and output power, offering ideal solutions to provide an uninterrupted energy supply. Industrial batteries are used to provide reliable energy in factories, warehouses, logistics centres, telecommunication infrastructure and many industrial applications.

CHARGING METHODS IN INDUSTRIAL BATTERIES

Industrial batteries should be charged according to their operating conditions and suitable chargers should be selected. Two types of charging processes are generally applied in industrial batteries.

Long term charging. In a 100 Ah cell, the starting current is set to 16 A. When the cell voltage is 2.4 VA, the current is reduced to 4 A and charging is terminated after 3.5 hours.
In a 100 Ah cell, the starting current is set in the range of 20-50 A. When the cell voltage is 2.4 V, the current is reduced to 4 A and the charging process is finished after 4 hours.

Things to Consider When Buying an Industrial Battery

There are some points to be considered when purchasing industrial batteries. These points are as follows:

  • Battery capacity: The battery capacity determines the amount of electrical energy the battery can store. The battery capacity should be selected according to the power requirements of the machine in which the battery will be used.
  • Battery voltage: The battery voltage determines the energy level of the battery. The battery voltage should be selected according to the requirements of the machine in which the battery will be used.
  • Battery size: The battery size should be selected according to the dimensions of the machine in which the battery will be used.
  • Battery type: Industrial batteries can be of different types. The battery type should be selected according to the requirements of the machine where the battery will be used.

When purchasing industrial batteries, it is also necessary to consider the quality of the batteries. The quality of the batteries affects the life and performance of the battery. Therefore, it is important to buy quality batteries from a reliable company.
